Tras una investigaci\u00f3n independiente, las autoridades han descubierto que las solicitudes se han disparado, pasando de 250 al a\u00f1o hace una d\u00e9cada a m\u00e1s de 5.000 en la actualidad. El uso de bloqueadores de la pubertad permite a un adolescente evitar la aparici\u00f3n de vello facial o a una adolescente detener el crecimiento de los senos. Esto determina su apariencia masculina o femenina. Estos medicamentos limitan futuros tratamientos o incluso operaciones en la edad adulta para vivir plenamente su identidad transg\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El n\u00famero de solicitudes de menores ha acabado por preocupar, y la sanidad p\u00fablica del Reino Unido (NHS) ha decidido cambiar su enfoque por otro menos general y m\u00e1s espec\u00edfico. \"Hemos llegado a la conclusi\u00f3n de que no hay pruebas suficientes que respalden la seguridad o la eficacia cl\u00ednica de las hormonas antipuberales para que el tratamiento est\u00e9 disponible de forma sistem\u00e1tica en la actualidad\", afirma el NHS. El servicio especializado desaparecer\u00e1, pero las adolescentes actualmente en tratamiento seguir\u00e1n recibiendo apoyo. Hay un centenar de ellas en total. Su protocolo continuar\u00e1 en hospitales de Leeds y Londres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un conservador quiere prohibir la prescripci\u00f3n de hormonas a menores<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Inglaterra no renuncia a los bloqueantes de la pubertad, pero las autoridades m\u00e9dicas afirman que quieren regular mejor su prescripci\u00f3n. Consideran que hasta ahora el seguimiento no ha sido lo suficientemente exhaustivo y que los adolescentes no han recibido suficiente apoyo, sobre todo desde el punto de vista pedi\u00e1trico, neurol\u00f3gico y psicol\u00f3gico. Un seguimiento que se desarrollar\u00e1 en dos nuevos servicios que abrir\u00e1n en abril de 2024 en Londres y Liverpool. Un enfoque m\u00e1s espec\u00edfico y menos masivo es lo que defienden los servicios sanitarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La asociaci\u00f3n Mermaids, que apoya a los j\u00f3venes transexuales, califica la decisi\u00f3n de \"decepcionante\". \"Esta noticia es un duro golpe y afectar\u00e1 profundamente a nuestras comunidades\", afirma la asociaci\u00f3n. Por el contrario, en las filas de la actual mayor\u00eda pol\u00edtica, esta decisi\u00f3n es bien recibida. Es el caso de Liz Truss, ex Primera Ministra conservadora. Ella ha redactado un proyecto de ley que se debate actualmente en el Parlamento y que prohibir\u00eda la prescripci\u00f3n de hormonas a menores, en cuanto este tratamiento altere su cuerpo y cuestione su sexo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Espa\u00f1a: el procedimiento de cambio de sexo en el registro civil se ampl\u00eda a los j\u00f3venes de 12 a 16 a\u00f1os<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El 16 de febrero de 2023, los diputados espa\u00f1oles aprobaron la \"Ley Trans\", un d\u00eda hist\u00f3rico para los activistas LGBT. Este texto simplifica principalmente el procedimiento de cambio de sexo en el registro civil. La autodeterminaci\u00f3n de g\u00e9nero ya es posible en Espa\u00f1a, mediante una simple declaraci\u00f3n administrativa. A partir de los 16 a\u00f1os, las personas pueden cambiar su nombre y sexo en el registro civil, sin consentimiento paterno y sin tener que aportar pruebas m\u00e9dicas o psicol\u00f3gicas de disforia de g\u00e9nero, ni pruebas de tratamiento hormonal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, esta ley permite ampliar la autodeterminaci\u00f3n de g\u00e9nero a los j\u00f3venes de 12 a 16 a\u00f1os, pero bajo ciertas condiciones. Los de 12 a 14 a\u00f1os deben obtener luz verde del poder judicial, mientras que los de 14 a 16 s\u00f3lo necesitan el consentimiento de sus tutores legales. Un punto muy pol\u00e9mico que provoc\u00f3 fuertes tensiones el a\u00f1o pasado en el seno del anterior Gobierno de coalici\u00f3n, entre Podemos y los socialistas que quer\u00edan modificar el texto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La oposici\u00f3n quiere derogar esta ley; Madrid ya la ha modificado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s de su entrada en vigor, esta ley sigue suscitando mucha pol\u00e9mica. Mientras las asociaciones LGTB y los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n progresistas alaban su promulgaci\u00f3n, en la derecha, la Ley Trans sigue siendo muy criticada. El diario conservador El Mundo mencionaba el martes 19 de marzo de 2024 la \"explosi\u00f3n\" del n\u00famero de casos de cambio de sexo en Espa\u00f1a: \"400% m\u00e1s de casos, mientras Europa retrocede\", seg\u00fan el diario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero eso no es todo, el l\u00edder de la oposici\u00f3n y del Partido Popular, Alberto N\u00fa\u00f1ez Feij\u00f3o, ya ha manifestado en varias ocasiones que le gustar\u00eda derogar esta ley, que le parece un sinsentido. \"Es mucho m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil cambiar legalmente de sexo que aprobar el bachillerato. Es mucho m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil cambiar de sexo que sacarse el carn\u00e9 de conducir, desde el punto de vista legal. Basta con ir al registro civil y presentar la idea. Basta con decir: 'a partir de ma\u00f1ana, soy se\u00f1ora, o a partir de ma\u00f1ana, soy hombre'. Haremos una ley trans. Hay un colectivo trans que tiene sus derechos y los regularemos, claro. Pero esta ley trans, no\", dice Alberto N\u00fa\u00f1ez Feij\u00f3o.
