The bill, which sparked heated discussions, was passed with 234 votes in favor and 94 against, out of the 349 members of the Swedish Parliament, the Riksdag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Detalles de la nueva normativa<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A partir del 1 de julio de 2025 entrar\u00e1n en vigor dos nuevas leyes que sustituir\u00e1n a la normativa actual. Estas leyes se refieren a los procedimientos quir\u00fargicos para el cambio de sexo y a la modificaci\u00f3n de la designaci\u00f3n del sexo en los documentos del estado civil. En particular, el cambio de estado civil se permitir\u00e1 a partir de los 16 a\u00f1os, con el consentimiento de los padres, un m\u00e9dico y la agencia nacional de salud y asuntos sociales para menores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Simplificaci\u00f3n de los procedimientos<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El proceso para cambiar la designaci\u00f3n del sexo en los documentos del estado civil se simplificar\u00e1, pues ya no ser\u00e1 necesario un diagn\u00f3stico previo de disforia de g\u00e9nero. Sin embargo, las cirug\u00edas de transici\u00f3n de g\u00e9nero seguir\u00e1n reservadas a mayores de 18 a\u00f1os, y algunos procedimientos espec\u00edficos, como la extirpaci\u00f3n de ovarios o test\u00edculos, solo se permitir\u00e1n a partir de los 23 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Impacto pol\u00edtico y social<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta ley ha puesto de manifiesto las divisiones en el seno de la coalici\u00f3n de gobierno y ha debilitado la posici\u00f3n del Primer Ministro Ulf Kristersson. Sin embargo, el apoyo de la oposici\u00f3n fue crucial para la promulgaci\u00f3n de esta ley.
