Ottawa tambi\u00e9n cit\u00f3 la ausencia de matrimonio legal para las parejas del mismo sexo en Jap\u00f3n para justificar esta decisi\u00f3n, se\u00f1alando que a la pareja se le negaban los beneficios concedidos a las parejas heterosexuales en el sistema japon\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Temor justificado a la persecuci\u00f3n <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Las autoridades canadienses de inmigraci\u00f3n declararon que el temor a la persecuci\u00f3n que sent\u00edan las dos mujeres en Jap\u00f3n se basaba en motivos suficientes.
