This allows us to offer truly safe environments,\u201d the volunteer team emphasizes.<\/p>\n One standout event featured performances by local drag queens, leaving a lasting impression: \u201cThe vibe was festive and caring\u2014the kind of night that brings people together.\u201d<\/p>\n Although Caen already has an active queer community, Les Luron\u00b7ne\u00b7s LGBTQIA+ add something different. \u201cOur work responds to a distinct need within the community. We\u2019re not trying to replace existing efforts\u2014we\u2019re here to expand and diversify what\u2019s available,\u201d the team shares. \u201cWe move forward with humility, but carry real ambition.\u201d<\/p>\n Intergenerational exchange is central to the group\u2019s mission. \u201cIt\u2019s crucial to build bridges between generations so younger people can learn from their elders,\u201d say the members.<\/p>\n The board even includes a dedicated intergenerational representative\u2014Aline\u2014whose perspective is highly valued. The group is highly active on social media and doesn\u2019t hesitate to speak out on key social issues, always with clarity and conviction about their values.<\/p>\n With active communication through Instagram, email, and phone, Les Luron\u00b7ne\u00b7s continue to organize events to build community bonds.
