Sphères Festival
A Cultural Reentry Celebrating Diversity
On the weekend of September 13 and 14, 2025, the French capital will host the very first edition of the Sphères Festival, a new event dedicated to alternative cultural expressions and artistic movements. Initiated by the media outlet Sphères, the festival will take over Paris for two vibrant days of celebration focused on drag, voguing, photography, tattoo art, and vintage fashion.
Challenging the idea that fall is the end of excitement, this initiative is designed as a platform for marginalized communities to express themselves. “In a time where society often retreats inward, these communities deserve to be recognized and celebrated, especially in an event committed to curiosity, openness, and identity intersection,” explain the organizers. Partner media têtu· will highlight the richness of LGBTQI+ culture through this multidisciplinary celebration.
A Living Extension of Sphères Magazine
The festival embodies the philosophy of Sphères magazine, known for its quarterly focus on niche communities (its latest edition was dedicated to cyclists), blending in-depth reporting with compelling photography. Through this new endeavor, the team aims to bring its editorial mission to life by encouraging connections among diverse artistic and social microcultures.
The program includes a photography exhibition, drag performances, second-hand fashion market, ephemeral tattoo sessions, DJ sets, voguing workshops, and panel discussions. This dynamic lineup is designed to combine entertainment, thoughtful dialogue, and cultural discovery.

Césure: An Iconic Venue for an Inclusive Gathering
The event will unfold at Césure, a cultural hub located in Paris’ 5th arrondissement. Housed in the former campus of Sorbonne Nouvelle University, this expansive 25,000-square-meter venue has been transformed into a collaborative and inclusive cultural space. With its bar, canteen, exhibition halls, Emmaüs shop, and conference rooms, it provides the ideal environment for the festival’s spirit of exchange and celebration.
Iconic Figures Leading Each Artistic Theme
Every artistic discipline highlighted in the festival will feature a respected cultural ambassador serving as a guest curator or honorary patron. These individuals represent the core values of cultural fusion and inclusivity that drive the festival.
- Drag: Paloma, winner of season 1 of Drag Race France, will perform on Saturday alongside Ruby on the Nail and Sergueï, and join Sunday’s talks with Piche and Kam Hugh.
- Voguing: Vinii Revlon, House of Revlon’s father and Europe’s first Legendary figure in voguing, will take part, joined by Giselle Palmer (GG) and Mariana Benenge, a waacking icon.
- Photography: The works of Marvin Bonheur, a socially engaged artist known for capturing urban and popular culture, will be on display.
- Vintage Fashion: The creator behind Minimaxxx market will bring their expertise in second-hand style to the event.
- Tattoo: Dodie, known from the show Tattoo Cover, will share her artistic universe through pop-up tattoo sessions.
