Queyras Pride 2026
A Wintertime Pride Celebration Like No Other
Queyras Pride returns on Saturday, January 31, blending LGBTQIA+ pride, winter sports, and festive fun against the breathtaking backdrop of the French Alps. Hosted in the picturesque resort of Molines-en-Queyras, perched at 1,750 meters in the Hautes-Alpes, this unique Pride event offers a colorful, high-altitude experience centered around visibility, inclusion, and joy. If you’re craving a vibrant and memorable winter escape, now’s the time to save your spot!
Morning Energy: Ski, Laughs & Community Vibes
The day kicks off at 9 AM with a welcoming coffee—your chance to pick up your Queyras Pride pass and catch the latest updates. Afterward, hit the slopes of Molines – Saint-Véran for a guided ski session with Nico, who’ll not only help you discover the terrain but also share local stories and tips to make the most out of your mountain adventure.
Midday Refuel: Alpine Lunch with a View
When noon rolls around, grab a bite at one of the inviting mountain spots. You can cozy up at the slope-side Chalet des Amoureux or head down to l’Équipe or l’Ours Blanc, where hearty meals and lively atmospheres await—perfect for recharging before the celebration continues.
The Pride Descent: Color, Glitter & Altitude
At 3 PM, it’s time for the event’s radiant highlight: the Pride Descent. Hosted by dynamic drag queens Cookie Cunty and Vespi, the parade takes off from the Chalet des Amoureux. Skiers, snowboarders, and télémark enthusiasts will glide down in a rainbow-filled procession at over 2,000 meters, celebrating visibility and diversity on the snow. Non-skiers are welcome too—a free shuttle and an accompanied snowshoe trail ensure everyone can join in the fun.
Après-Ski Takes Center Stage: Drag, Laughter & DJ Beats
Once the lifts close, the party continues under an open-air marquee—bundle up, the energy might be hot but the temperature is not! The spotlight returns to Cookie Cunty and Vespi, who will light up the night with fierce drag performances. The laughter keeps rolling with stand-up sets by Mamari and comedy acts from Lolla Wesh and Maxime Cuny. Rounding out the night? An electrifying DJ set by Palavas Vegas, guaranteed to keep the party going late into the evening.
Sunday Funday: Playful Ski Contest & Mountain Tastings
The fun doesn’t stop on Saturday. Sunday brings a light-hearted ski challenge to keep the adrenaline flowing, capped off with an indulgent spirits tasting session courtesy of the Saint Véran Distillery, located at an impressive 2,800 meters.
