Toronto Unveils the World’s Longest Rainbow in Celebration of Pride

A Monumental Installation for Toronto World’s Longest Rainbow

Toronto has introduced what is being called the longest rainbow globally, measuring nearly 2,000 feet (600 meters). This impressive art installation, titled “The Long Walk to Equality,” is the work of celebrated queer artist Travis Myers.

The unveiling event saw participation from prominent figures in the LGBTQ+ community, including Jada Shada Hudson, a star from Canada’s Drag Race. This significant installation is located along a path at Hanlan’s Point on the Toronto Islands, symbolizing a powerful statement of equality and pride.
