Cathedral City LGBT Days Bed
A Festive Event in the Heart of the City
Cathedral City wrapped up the final day of the LGBT Days 2025 bed parade on Sunday morning, bringing together an excited crowd in front of City Hall. Starting at 10:00 AM, attendees had the opportunity to browse various vendor booths and enjoy live music performances before the parade began.
A Colorful and Creative Show
Dozens of teams participated this year, decorating their rolling beds with creative themes and dressing in matching outfits. At 11:00 AM, the streets filled with spectators eager to watch the parade, followed by the much-anticipated bed races.
A Must-Attend Event for the Community
Eri Nox, involved in organizing the Greater Palm Springs Hot Rodeo, highlighted the significance of this event in raising awareness and supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
“We are part of the International Gay Rodeo Association,” Nox explained. “We hold a gay rodeo every year in Palm Springs, and many of our members live in Cathedral City. So we’re here to promote our rodeo and engage with the community.”
Nox emphasized the importance of unity and support, especially for the transgender community:
“Now more than ever, we must stand together and support one another,” he stated. “We also need to embrace our transgender community. We’re doing everything we can to make them feel welcome, and that starts right here in Cathedral City.”
